I worked as a marine biologist for over a decade and traveled all over the world. I bought my first DSLR camera to make sure I could record all the amazing places I went and experiences I had. My hobby quickly become an addiction when I started to do underwater photography. There are lots of constraints when shooting underwater as water filters out light much differently from air and subjects like fish and sharks can be difficult to work with. Back on land I further explored photography by working at a photo studio. I thought it was amazing that I could perfectly control all the light in a studio environment. My technical understanding of light from my science background and passion for photography had a new outlet. I have spent the last 8 years expanding my experience and ability in still life/product photography, fashion/on model photography, and lifestyle/editorial style photography. No matter what your studio photography needs I am sure I can achieve them - after all they will probably be easier than some of the shark images I have made...
